The Hearts of Stone expansion was well recieved and helped provide new adventures and developments that kept fans busy with another ten hours of gameplay.</div>

HoS brought tougher enemies to the fight and meant that players would probably need to have reached at least level 30 before taking it on.</div>

It was good move for CD Projekt RED to up the difficulty, helping to hold back the feeling that the game was set to only give more storylines to unravel.</div>

The Blood and Wine DLC that launches next year will include 20 hours of gameplay but it will also be important that new additions, such as Runewords and Glyphwords seen in HoS, are part of the new package to make sure players are not simply going through the same motions again.</div>

The Witcher 3 game director, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, shared his thoughts on the year, telling fans: "This year was really epic for the entire crew behind The Witcher.</div>

CD PROJEKT RED have revealed the full list of changes coming to The Witcher 3 this week, including improvements to gameplay in the Hearts of Stone DLC and the original Wild Hunt on PS4, Xbox One and PC. <br />

The development team are hoping to release patch 1.11 later today bringing fixes to both the original game, expansion and the New Game Plus mode.<br />
Like many past changelogs from Projekt Red, the list of improvements is long, ranging from modifying diagram for Enhanced Legendary Wolven Gauntlets, to adding missing download image for Skellige Armor content.<br />
Community manager Marcin Momot told fans via The Witcher 3 forums that the team hoped to release today, with PC gamers receiving it first.<br />
"Patch 1.11 is coming to all platforms shortly. Should be out on PC in just a few hours with consoles following very soon as well," he wrote.<br />
"Will keep you posted as the update becomes available across all platforms."<br />

The game’s official MODkit is set for a revamp, having launched in August with several example mods to help get fans started.</div>

Players looking forward to testing out the latest REDkit tools were disappointed to find that what was eventually launched fell short of a fully-fledged editor.</div>

Projekt RED confirmed this at the time, writing: "the modding tools we are releasing are not an editor. </div>

Community manager, Marcin Momot revealed in September: "As we mentioned before, at this moment we are 100% focused on delivering both expansion packs for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.</div>

The MODkit is the only modding support there is for Wild Hunt. We have no plans to releasing anything else.</div>
