The title has also been removed from the PlayStation Store, with a message sent over PSN explaining: "The publisher has notified us that the configuration of the product you pre-ordered has changed significantly.</div>

Square Enix have also now issued a statement via Twitter, saying: "If your Hitman pre-order is cancelled, don't panic. </div>

"Release date is still 11 March. We're adjusting a few things and will update in a few days."</div>

As of yet it appears that the Xbox One and PC pre-orders have escaped untouched, which means that the cancellation is likely to have something to do with Square Enix's exclusive content for the PS4.</div>

Sony's popular console will also receive six exclusive contracts which sees Agent 47 chase down a group of disgraced soldiers called 'The Sarajevo Six'.</div>

The contracts will be based in various locations around the world, with Square Enix explaining: "Each target was a private soldier guilty of committing brutal war crimes. Many years later, fate is finally catching up with them."</div>

First-time cheaters were previously given just a three-day ban, but Ubisoft have decided to clamp down following complaints from Siege players.</div>

A number of other tweaks have been implemented on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC including a fix which stops Defenders from leaving their zone during the preparation phase.</div>

Those who stray will now be automatically killed, with Ubisoft also confirming that the server tick rate for console users has been updated from 30 times per second to 60.</div>

It was confirmed earlier this week that the Xbox One exclusive, which had been scheduled for a Christmas 2016 release, is now likely to be in stores this autumn.</div>

The revelation was made by Microsoft representatives during a livestream broadcast and is sure to be music to the ears of Xbox users around the world.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
More news was also shared during the event, with The Coalition developer Rod Fergusson revealing that the four games available via Backward Compatibility on Xbox One are now among the top played through the new Microsoft feature.</div>

In fact the four game are in the top nine most popular backward compatible titles, the others were not revealed.</div>

Insomniac Games have confirmed the official release date of PS4 exclusive Ratchet & Clank for later this year.</div>

The anticipated reboot is set to launch on 15th April in France, and 20th April everywhere else in the PAL region.</div>
