<div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies will get a big reveal next week, that according to a new teaser drop by developers Infinity Ward on Twitter.</strong></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Posting a gif of a film reel case with a timer on it, it looks likely that the big reveal will occur on Tuesday, August 16.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It also came with a caption, reading: “It’s almost time for the big premiere! Grab the popcorn and get ready to scream.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It puts it bang on target for Gamescom in Cologne and will also mean it’ll be going head-to-head with all the other huge FPS titles launching later in 2016.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Both Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 have events planned for the same day, meaning fans might have to choose between which broadcast or trailer to watch.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A new Destiny: Rise of Iron reveal is also set for around that time, and underscores a busy Autumn period, starting with the September release from Bungie.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The first teaser dropped by Infinity Ward in regards to the new zombies mode made a reference to “19-ATVI--85," almost certainly clue at what era and style it will include.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>It follows the recent release of the Descent Black Ops 3 DLC for Xbox One and PC.</strong></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Decent includes four new multiplayer maps and the latest Black Ops 3 Zombies chapter, Gorod Krovi, which takes players to an alternate-timeline of Stalingrad in which they must face-off against a swarm of mechanised zombie soldiers and avoid hell-fire from aerial dragon assaults.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The new Descent multiplayer maps are listed as follows:</div>
<ul><div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<li><div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>Empire</strong>: Fan favourite map Raid returns, re-imagined in this classic, medium-sized map as an authentic Roman villa, where a classic map structure mixes with the new gameplay mechanics of Black Ops III.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
</li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<li><div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>Berserk:</strong> A Viking village frozen in time enlists players to fight through blizzards, for control of the centre bridge. This medium-sized map features wooden buildings, deadly rocky outcroppings and tight chokepoints.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
</li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<li><div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>Cryogen</strong>: Located far in the Dead Sea, this isolated compound holds some of the world’s most dangerous criminals in frozen isolation.  Sentry towers keep watch over the small map’s circular design as frenetic combat and wall running attacks abound.   </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
</li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<li><div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>Rumble:</strong> Gamers battle amongst larger-than-life mechanised warriors in this medium-sized map, which funnels high-speed combat to the central arena, where players battle their way through fallen mechs and pyrotechnics. </div>
</li>

</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
 </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Facebook Messenger recently announced it has over 800 million users, but many of its avid fans probably don't know about a game secretly hidden inside.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The classic game of chess can be played by sharing the simple message "@fbchess play" with any of your contacts.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As soon the message is sent a basic chess board appears on the screen – although playing the brain-testing game isn't quite as simple as finding it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Gamers are able to play by typing in a specific Algebraic Notation – for example, @fbchess e4 or @fbchess Pe4 will move a pawn to e4 on the board.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
B is used for bishop, R moves the rook, Q for queen, K for king, and, because K is already used in King, the letter N moves your knight.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's pretty frustrating to begin with but learning the codes soon speeds things up.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you're finding things confusing full instructions on how to play can viewed by typing "@fbchess help" into the messaging app.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

The Xbox One will not receive the Hitman beta, which is out on the PS4 from February 12.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sony's popular console will also receive six exclusive contracts which sees Agent 47 chase down a group of disgraced soldiers called 'The Sarajevo Six'.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The contracts will be based in various locations around the world, with Square Enix explaining: "Each target was a private soldier guilty of committing brutal war crimes. Many years later, fate is finally catching up with them."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hitman will be released March 11 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.</div>

"Things are consolidating around bigger titles [and there are] fewer of them overall than we were seeing towards the end of the last generation. I think we've built a game that's just going to stand up there with the best. So I'm not concerned about it in that respect.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<strong>The problems that have been plaguing Xbox Live services on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows have been resolved, Microsoft have confirmed.</strong></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>A message from the Xbox support team revealed that the service should have been restored to those who had limited access to core features, such as online gaming and party chat.</strong></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>"The issues should now be resolved!" the Xbox support message reads.</strong></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>"Please be sure to power cycle your Xbox console before trying to connect again."</strong></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>UPDATE FOUR</strong>: Almost four hours after the original event occurred and fans are still having accessing core Xbox Live features.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Service has been limited since around 7pm, UK and includes: In-game matchmaking, cloud storage, finding friends, Game DVR, leaderboards, avatar editing, or pictures.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It effectively renders all the console's social online gaming features, such as party chat, unusable as of this time.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The latest from Microsoft: "Thanks for your continued patience while the issues with Xbox Live are looked into."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One man who isn't best pleased by the recent downtime is rapper Snoop Dogg, who has told Microsoft via social media that he is set to switch to PlayStation unless things get back on track pronto.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The profane 15-second rant can be viewed here on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/snoopdogg/" target="_blank">Instagram</a>, does include strong language.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There has yet to be an ETA shared by Microsoft over how long the downtime could continue for, the rival PS4 console was recently hit by its own problems that left the PlayStation Network down for over nine hours in some cases.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
 </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>UPDATE THREE</strong>: Whatever is causing tonight's issues is now doing the same for Xbox 360 users, Microsoft has confirmed.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Xbox 360 has been added to the list of devices affected by the current outage, which include all social and gaming activities.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Hey Xbox members, are you having trouble creating or joining your multiplayer sessions?" an Microsoft statement explains.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Are you running into an issue with viewing notifications?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"We are aware of these issues and are working with our engineers to get this corrected ASAP!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Thank you for your patience while we work."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Affected Microsoft platforms include the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Xbox on Windows.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
It appears EA may have some big changes in mind for <a href="http://newsnewsblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/star-wars-battlefront-major-update.html" target="_blank">Star Wars Battlefront</a> in the future.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are already plans afoot to make more content available in single-player mode and a new DLC is set to be announced by developers DICE very soon.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
However, when it comes to the future of the series and what fans on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, they may find their feedback has had a much bigger impact.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
EA have reportedly launched a major feedback drive for the game, with a new survey allegedly released asking fans key questions about the series on a range of topics.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Battlefront fans could see some big changes in the future</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
 </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The questionnaire appears to focus mainly on future titles, although it is unclear just what kind of impact the feedback would have on the upcoming DLC offerings set for release in 2016.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The survey reportedly covers a lot of different subjects, asking fans about their expectations for the Season Pass, the inclusion and importance of combat types, such as ground-to-space vehicle combat, as well as what Force Awakens content they were looking for.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Other ideas touched upon in the survey included hero crossovers, alluding to the idea of Anakin Skywalker facing off against Han Solo, along with the importance of including material from the Clone Wars.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Call of Duty: <a href="http://newsnewsblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/xbox-one-news-gta-5-dlc-update-reveal.html" target="_blank">Black Ops 3</a> continued its strong showing into 2016, spending the first week of the new year at No.1 in the UK sales chart.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
 </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Chart-Track reports that the titles that dominated early 2016 were pretty much the same as those during the holidays, due mainly to the fact there have been no new major releases since.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Games did shuffle in the list though, with the likes of FIFA 16 clawing its way back up to claim the no.2 spot, while some old titles made a big comeback.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Having been heavily reduced during the holidays, Battlefield 4 returned to the top ten, just behind Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate and Just Cause 3.</div>

<a href="http://newsnewsblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/destiny-bungie-reveal-update-on.html" target="_blank">Destiny: Taken King</a> fans have been hit by a series of issues this week, affecting both the Weekly Nightfall Strike and collecting the new emblems earned by logging in between January 7 and January 10.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fans found themselves barred from continuing the Sunless Cell earlier this week due to a door not opening ahead of the Darkblade boss showdown.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was a big quest-breaking bug which has finally been fixed by Bungie.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The studio has also confirmed that the bug stopping those users who had earned the new Rising Sun emblem - from playing the game on the correct date - should also have been given their reward.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“We have resolved issues impacting distribution of the "Rising Light" New Year's Gift Emblem,” am official Bungie support message reads.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Qualifying players may need to re-launch the Destiny Application in order to acquire the Emblem.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There have been other problems plaguing the game of late, with the PvP Crucible hit by never-leaving corpses, health bars appearing not to deplete and epic lag that has allowed players to kill from beyond the grave.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
These issues have apparently been solved, with Bungie adding: “A fix has been deployed to resolve some recent issues impacting Crucible gameplay.”</div>
