Dark Souls 3 release date for PS4 and Xbox One REVEALED during E3 unveiling

DARK SOULS 3 is set to be unveiled at E3 and looks to have been given its first release date and screenshots.

UPDATE: Dark Souls 3 has been confirmed for 2016 release.
The game was unveiled during Microsoft's E3 conference and will be hitting shelves in early 2016.
Dark Souls 3 will not be an Xbox One exclusive.
The company revealed the CG trailer for From Software’s latest  RPG title, which will also include a giant clad in armour and holding a massive sword. 
UPDATE: Following the recent leak that revealed more on the development of Dark Souls 3, further information has been found that points to a 2016 release date.
It seems FROM Software's big announcement for E3 has been spoiled, with promotional art from the expo finding its way onto the internet early (via IGN).
An armoured warrior smouldering from fire damage can be seen in front of a ruined castle, with the phrase "Early 2016" posted below it.
Bandai Namco have yet to comment on the new image or indeed confirm the next instalment in the Dark Souls franchise officially.
Based on all the details gathered so far it would seem a big announcement will be held at E3 for the new-gen title.
That's according to a new reports that claim to have the first solid information on what to expect from the next From Software title.
YouTube channel The Know say they have the first look at what the next title in the franchise, along with a huge list of details.
Similar reports that the Silent Hills project was set to be bought by Microsoft for “billions” of dollars also appeared online in May, This was quickly denied by Xbox chief Phil Spencer.
According to the new report, Dark Souls 3 is planned for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2016, while a PC version has been described as “negotiable”.
It will include 1-to-4 players, with the return of certain game mechanics such as bounties and invading other people's games.
New features includes creating bonfires, changing worlds to alter boss fights and equipping special moves.
The Know also revealed that there will be ten playable classes at the beggining of the game, while a list of new monsters are set to be added on top of those featured in other Dark Souls titles.
The game will have 12 areas to explore and will include more cutscenes, which could mean a more story-driven experience.
