MANUEL PELLEGRINI has warned Yaya Toure to keep his focus on City’s title challenge and not where he might be playing next season.

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini delivers warning to Yaya Toure amid exit rumours
Yaya Toure has been linked with the exit door at Manchester City

Not for the first time the midfielder’s agent has done his best to alert potential suitors saying earlier this week that they were “ready to listen to offers”.
But City’s manager fired a shot across the bows today when telling the Ivorian to put thoughts of a move on the back burner and help the club to a Premier League title.
“I think that for Yaya and for every player the most important thing is to think in the present in this moment, the next game. At the end of season you never know what will happen with anyone,” he said.

“It is very important not to think what is your future, just demonstrate why you are here in Manchester CIty. The most important thing is to try to win the title this season.”
Toure’s outspoken agent Dimitri Seluk has never been shy of an opinion about how the club are treating his £220,000-a-week client.
Last summer Seluk claimed Toure was “90 per cent certain to leave” only to perform a u-turn. In summer of 2014, he famously claimed the player felt “unloved”, citing the lack of a birthday cake as the tipping point.

However with questions building over his form, Toure may well be on his way in the summer with China’s Super League a possible destination.
Tours is at least fit to make the trip to face West Ham in tomorrow’s evening kick-off but Pellegrini continues to be without the services of Aleksandar Kolarov, Wilfried Bony, Vincent Kompany (all calf injuries) and Eliaquim Mangala (hamstring).
Fernandinho has trained this week and will be fit to face the Hammers.
