The title has also been removed from the PlayStation Store, with a message sent over PSN explaining: "The publisher has notified us that the configuration of the product you pre-ordered has changed significantly.</div>

Square Enix have also now issued a statement via Twitter, saying: "If your Hitman pre-order is cancelled, don't panic. </div>

"Release date is still 11 March. We're adjusting a few things and will update in a few days."</div>

As of yet it appears that the Xbox One and PC pre-orders have escaped untouched, which means that the cancellation is likely to have something to do with Square Enix's exclusive content for the PS4.</div>

Sony's popular console will also receive six exclusive contracts which sees Agent 47 chase down a group of disgraced soldiers called 'The Sarajevo Six'.</div>

The contracts will be based in various locations around the world, with Square Enix explaining: "Each target was a private soldier guilty of committing brutal war crimes. Many years later, fate is finally catching up with them."</div>

First-time cheaters were previously given just a three-day ban, but Ubisoft have decided to clamp down following complaints from Siege players.</div>

A number of other tweaks have been implemented on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC including a fix which stops Defenders from leaving their zone during the preparation phase.</div>

Those who stray will now be automatically killed, with Ubisoft also confirming that the server tick rate for console users has been updated from 30 times per second to 60.</div>

Rockstar will continue to support GTA 5's online multiplayer mode with new content in 2016, this time round focusing on the recently added Lowrider DLC.<br />
New reports this week claim that the highly-anticipated next wave of vehicles that can be fully customised will be released on February 9.<br />
It will be followed by another content drop in connection with Valentine's Day on February 14, including an weekend event and a special Adversary mode.<br />
