Witcher 3: Patch delay confirmed, Blood and Wine trailer pushed back
There will be no update for The Witcher 3 before 2016

 
CD Projekt Red have confirmed that the latest patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been pushed back until 2016.
 
The epic role-playing adventure has been one of 2015’s top titles and was recently crowned Game of the Year ahead of Fallout 4 and Metal Gear Solid 5.
Fans were hoping that the latest patch, 1.12, would be released over the Christmas holidays ahead of upcoming DLC Blood and Wine, but Community Manager Marcin Momot has confirmed on Twitter that it will now be coming out early in 2016.

Upcoming expansion pack Blood and Wine is yet to receive a trailer
 
That means any hope of a trailer for Blood and Wine will have to wait for now, with Momot adding that there’s 'no chance' of one being released as a Christmas treat for fans.
CD Projekt Red have been playing their cards close to their chest regarding the new DLC, but screenshots have revealed that it will be set in the Nilfgaardian duchy of Toussaint.

First DLC Hearts of Stone is still available on all platforms
 
It could also feature characters only seen in the books so far, but is sure to add to the Witcher 3’s engaging storyline.
However, fans who are craving more action with Geralt of Rivia can still enjoy first expansion pack Hearts of Stone, which is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
