Man United icon Neville blasts Old Trafford bosses for David De Gea transfer saga
David De Gea is wanted by Real Madrid
GARY NEVILLE has launched a scathing attack on Manchester United’s handling of the David De Gea transfer saga.

The United shot-stopper has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for a number of months, however, the Red Devils are reluctant to let him leave.
De Gea was omitted once again from United’s matchday squad as they faced Aston Villa on Friday evening.

And Red Devils icon Neville has criticised chief executive Ed Woodward and manager Louis van Gaal for allowing De Gea to enter the final year of his deal.
“This has been badly managed by United, make no mistake,” he said.

“To allow a player of his quality not to extend a couple of years ago — why wasn’t his deal extended in that period?
“To allow his contract to get to this situation is poor management. And United are paying for it.
“Victor Valdes arriving last season might have unsettled him further. Now he’s biting back a bit.
“It’s a messy situation. No one will win out of it and it needs resolving.”
