The iconic game's director has left the company to form his own, Kojima Productions, which will release its first title exclusively on the PS4.</div>

Rumours have swirled around Konami’s plans for their top IP, with many fans concerned that the <a href="http://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/gaming/627563/Metal-Gear-Solid-5-Konami-Update-PS4-Xbox-One-New-Weapons-FOB-Mission-Event" target="_blank">Phantom Pain</a> could be the last AAA instalment in the series.</div>

None of this gives away much about what kind of game Konami have in mind, could we a follow up to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, or perhaps a full blown reimagining of Kojima’s earlier work?</div>

Konami have released some confirmed plans on how they hope to update the game in November, including changes to FOB missions, new weapons, as well as Grade 8 online development.</div>

Players will see changes to the user interface of the PF Rating screen to help get the most out of FOB missions. once the updated UI is in place, Konami are planning to add a PF Rating Event scheduled for November 2015.</div>

A statement from Konami explains: "The update also features new weapons and items to help turn missions in your favor. Following on from the addition of the current highest development grade (Grade 7), you will now be able to develop Grade 8 equipment as well. </div>
