Metal Gear Solid 5 update: The Phantom Pain chapter three REVEALED
Metal Gear Solid 5's latest update solves a save-breaking bug
METAL Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's third chapter has been revealed.

At some point in the game's development, MGSV had a third chapter which never made it into the final product.
Dedicated fans have found traces of it, including textures of Snake Eater's Boss character and references to a Chapter Three, named Peace.
So far, not much is known about it, although recent reports claim that the game was simply brought in line to consist of just two chapters instead of three and didn't include any cut episodes from the final game.
The Phantom Pain's collector’s edition came with a blu-ray that boasted an unfinished story episode, although it is pretty common for some trimming to be done during the editing phase.
It could also point to certain creative decisions being made to streamline the game before launch, although publisher Konami have yet to comment on these possibilities.

However, Konami have revealed that problems connected with the Quiet glitch that has seen some save files become corrupted, has now been fixed.
The bug is triggered only under certain circumstances in Episode 29 or Episode 42 when Quiet is used as your buddy. However, you may still safely use Quiet in these missions if you use the Butterfly Emblem throughout the mission or avoid raising your Bond Level with Quiet to MAX during the course of the mission.
A patch that fixes the game progression bug reported on September 8 related to having Quiet as a buddy is now available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One fans will have to wait for the patch to be rolled out, while it has been fixed internally and is currently under final testing before distribution.
Konami say they will post an announcement as soon as the patch becomes available.
