THE Metal Gear Online Global Championship has been announced by Konami today, who are set to partner up with the ESL Gaming Network.</div>

<section class="text-description">Launching in December of this year, the league kicks off its first global tournament season, which will include cash prizes.</section><section class="text-description">Konami have confirmed that the new league will hold weekly online tournaments worldwide starting December 1 through February 29, 2016.</section><section class="text-description">Competitions across the globe in four regions: North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia/Australia.</section><section class="text-description">MGO fans will be able to watch competing team battle it out, to buid their professional rank, with a total prize pool of $12,000 confirmed and $1000 of that set to be rewarded each month.</section><section class="text-description">A Konami statement explains: "Players of METAL GEAR ONLINE – METAL GEAR SOLID V: The Phantom Pain’s competitive multiplayer mode – now have the opportunity to showcase their sneaking skills within the METAL GEAR ONLINE community.</section><section class="text-description"><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en">
