BUNGIE have been answering questions over Destiny: The Taken King's weak reward lineup, possible King's Fall Raid microtransactions and the Gjallarhorn 2.0.
Taken King director Luke Smith has been replying to questions laid out by fans on Twitter, first covering a potential Taken King secret weapon.
Data miners have discovered new info on a heavy weapons that some have dubbed the Gjallarhorn 2.0 and Smith clarified if this might be a reward in a future quest laid out by the Bungie team.
After a fan posted a picture of the weapon to Smith's Twitter page, he replied: "It's an icon for a weapon that was cut from TTK. Data files aren't promises. There is no Horn 2.0."
Having put that rumour to rest, Smith then covered the subject of the Taken King's Nightfall Strikes and the feedback that the studio had received from fans who had run them without the added reputation buff.
"Nightfall Rewards can be underwhelming," he tweeted.
"Runes/low # of coins/no reputation burst/weak legendaries all feel like losing."
Smith added that Bungie will likely fix this though a future update, which could mean better rewards for completing the tough challenges.
Finishing off his mini Taken King Q&A, Smith also spoke on the subject of Destiny's new microtransaction system, which was rolled out yesterday via update 2.01.
The Eververse Trading Store currently only contains emotes, however, following the discovery of new armour buffs and items in found in connection with data mining activity, fans wanted to know if these could one day be sold for Silver as well.
"We aren't (nor are we planning) on selling consumables that buff King's Fall drop rates for Silver," Smith wrote.
Bungie have already laid out their plans to add surprise Taken King DLC content in the months ahead and recently unveiled the revamped Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris events that are now back in the game's running schedule.
