No, it's not just you. Twitter really is down.
The cross-platform posting app is believed to have experienced a
series of technical difficulties tonight – leaving users unable
to post articles in time or log into other apps using Twitter.
One of the world’s most popular social app first began to experience problems at around 11:00AM UK time.
Since then, reports of issues across the globe have surged as users
flocked to social media to complain about the Twitter outages.
Twitter will be rated the worst app if they go on to change their timeline algorithm, later this year.

Independent website DownDetector.uk, which tracks "when services go down
or have outages", reported a spike in the number of people complaining
about Twitter not working properly at around 11:00AM UK time. Most Twitter users were complaining about not being able to login-in into Twitter and other apps using their twitter profile.
Fans of the Twitter posting-app app flocked to Facebook to share the news.
One user posted: “So Twitter is down. Gonna have to go back to facebook like a savage.”
“Thank you Twitter for going down and providing some relief from tweets one cannot mute,” another added.
One Twitter user joked: “#Twitter helping drunk people today by taking down its servers #NoRegretfullTexts”
“Trust Twitter to go down on an important night when everyone is organising plans,” another social media user jeered.
Twitter currently boasts more than 900 million users worldwide.
