Destiny The Taken King: Power and Questification is key to Bungie's future plans
Destiny will continue to increase the power of players past The Taken King
BUNGIE have warned fans that Destiny will be down for the arrival of Update 2.01, and with it all the first changes to The Taken King.

UPDATE ONE: If you've been wondering what direction Bungie plan to take Destiny following the launch of The Taken King expansion, you can rest easy knowing that questification and power are going to be at its core.
The recent release of the Eververse Trading Company microtransaction system has led some fans to wonder how the game will continue to expand.
Bungie Designer Jacob Benton and Ryan Paradis, Senior Designer, recently revealed their thoughts on what they think will keep fans coming back to Destiny in the future and why questification will play such an important role.
"This quest system lets us write a lot more about what the player is doing," Benton told the NewsNewsBlog.blogspot.com.
"It allows them to interact with more people in the world, talk to them, and in doing so, fleshing out the world much more than were previously able to do.
"It's a better wrapper for the stories we are trying to tell and I think that can be felt whilst playing the Taken King," Paradis added.
"Our sandbox and weapon designers have done a phenomenal job of making the core gameplay feel good and layered on top of that, we have a loot system and investment system that is going to allow players to become more and more powerful."
"Those elements combined will make players want to stay involved."

Tess Everis will be back in the Destiny Tower
Destiny: The Taken King will see the grand opening of the Eververse Trading Company with update 2.0.1, which will add microtransactions and new weapon balancing.
Tess Everis will lead the venture at The Tower, sporting a new look, along with new items to sell, which will include eighteen emotes that are completely optional to the game.
Fans will have the chance to try out the new system, along with its in-game currency "Silver" after the launch, as Bungie plan to put some in every Destiny players account.
It will mean fans on Xbox and PlayStation platforms will be able to buy an emote or two without having to spend any cash, whilst playing the game between now and and December will also allow players to earn free Silver, Bungie has confirmed.
