Arsenal under-21 boss Steve Gatting has hailed Danny Welbeck after his first appearance since April for the youth side.
The England striker played 60 minutes as he continued his recovery from a knee problem.
"Danny has been great for us,” he told Arsenal Player.
"We are pleased he got through his 60 minutes and had an effect and again it is a senior player who has come down to us and played a part.
"All the senior players that have come down like Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky have been fantastic. They have a lot of experience and we are better for it."
Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Leicester as they moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
He said: "I think it's great to see Leicester doing do well.
"You always ask me, ‘Why do you not buy a big-name?’ but Leicester is a fantastic example that football is not only about just spending the money.
"It's the quality of work and it's important to think that the quality of the work can get you there.
"Leicester are a very good example for our league. The advantage they have until the end of the season, apart from our fans and the City fans and Tottenham fans, is that the rest of the country is behind Leicester."
Paul Pogba's brother Florentin has claimed the Juventus star once dreamed about playing for Arsenal.
He said: "Paul is a little crazy, obviously in the best sense.
"His dreams? When he was little, the clubs that made ??the dream were Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Arsenal."
