<a href="http://newsnewsblog.blogspot.com/2015/12/nintendo-news-super-mario-makers-epic.html" target="_blank">Splatoon</a> is set to wind down on content updates in January 2016 and some of the final weapons are starting be revealed.</div>

Nintendo have pledged that Splatfest events and balancing patches will continue to keep the game running on Wii U, it is still unclear just how much new content will be added before it stops.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One new weapon coming to the game today is the Octobrush Nouveau, which will arrive at 10am in the UK. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Octobrush-hybrid replaces the Squid Beakon and the Kraken with the Inkzooka and Splat Bombs.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It follows the release of what could be one of the last maps for Splatoon for Nintendo, <a href="http://splatoon.nintendo.com/news/article/?id=66" target="_blank">the Piranha Pit</a>, which was added to the rotation on December 28.</div>

New video footage has surfaced online, apparently attached to an idea involving the history of Link and the Zelda series.</div>

It's claimed that the new clip will be shown at a major event and will focus on the relationship of parents and their children's interaction with the iconic character.</div>

It is currently not known what project this footage is tied to, only that it includes references to it appearing on the Wii U.</div>

Gamer Professionals, who claim to have seen the video, say they believe it to be legitimate and have speculated could be attached to a new anthology title to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary.</div>

Rumours of a multi-platform device, complete with a controller that can also work as a standalone device, have been swirling since the announcement of the <a href="http://newsnewsblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/nintendo-nx-new-console-update-from.html" target="_blank">Nintendo NX</a> project.</div>

However, nothing concrete has been pinned down by Nintendo, who have confirmed they will not speak further about the console until 2016.</div>

A new message shared by Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima reveals that the new console will continue to make up the core of Nintendo's business but he also speaks at length on how they want to expand their consumer reach.</div>

"For our dedicated video game platform business, Nintendo is currently developing a gaming platform codenamed “NX” with a brand-new concept and our unique software-led hardware-software integrated business will continue to constitute the core business for Nintendo," Kimishima explains in the new Nintendo statement.</div>

"For the purpose of maximizing the population that interact with Nintendo IP, we will also enter into the smart device gaming business and aim to generate revenue and profit from it as well as to create synergy with the dedicated video game platform business."</div>

TREYARCH and Activision have revealed more on the fate of Call of Duty: Black Ops III on the Xbox 360, Wii U and PS3.</div>

<b>UPDATE: Activision have officially announced the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on Xbox 360 and PS3 today.</b></div>

<b>Developers Beenox and Mercenary Technology are in charge of bringing the next COD to the older generation of consoles, the publisher has confirmed.</b></div>
<div class="p1" style="text-align: justify;">
<b>The game will appear on the Xbox 360 and PS3 because Activision are aware that many fans have yet buy an Xbox One or PS4.</b></div>

<b>Difference between the titles will include a two-player co-op story mode, while other features and functionality built specifically for the new generation of consoles that cannot be supported on Xbox 360 and PS3 will also be pulled.</b></div>

<b>And unfortunately, there will be no Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for Nintendo fans on Wii U.</b></div>

<b>A statement from communications manager Scott Lowe explained: "</b><b>Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been designed to harness the full potential of the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. However, we know that there are still some fans that haven’t made the transition to the new console hardware, which is why we’re happy to share that we're working with developers Beenox and Mercenary Technology on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.</b></div>

Call of Duty: Black Ops II was launched for the console in 2012 and while there have been no official announcements regarding release on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U, it would seem unlikely that these markets would be missed out entirely.</div>

UPDATE April 28: A new listing has been spotted that may confirm the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360.</div>
<div class="p1" style="text-align: justify;">
Dutch online retailer BOL.com reportedly listed the new COD title for both last-gen consoles, including box art and gallery pictures before they were taken down.</div>
<div class="p1" style="text-align: justify;">
The game was allegedly priced as much as the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game and included the same launch date of November 6, 2015.</div>
<div class="p1" style="text-align: justify;">
The listing has since been taken down.</div>
<div class="p1" style="text-align: justify;">
Treyarch have made it clear that they are solely focused on developing Black Ops 3 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC only, meaning any version published on the Xbox 360 and PS3 would have to come from a separate studio.</div>

Activision and Treyarch also announced  a multiplayer Beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops III,  Fans who pre-order the game now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC will get access to the Beta, details will be announced at a later date. </div>

"There are no ‘ports’. The game is made on multiple platforms, it’s the beginning of a new generation and we’re showing it to you on all these platforms, to dispel some of the misconceptions about development," he said.</div>

And while Black Ops 3 has been confirmed  on the new-gen platforms, Lamia added that Treyarch were focused only on those platforms.</div>

“We’re working on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. That’s it," Lamia said.</div>

Activision meanwhile has said that it has no further platform announcements to make at this time.</div>

It could mean a second developer is now heading up projects for the PS3 and Xbox 360, much like what was done with Call of DutyL Advanced Warfare in 2014.</div>

There could even be a chance of Black Ops III coming to the Wii U at a later date, after Call of Duty: Ghosts was developed separately from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity_Ward">Infinity Ward</a> in 2013.</div>

The most fun I had with the game was playing other people's levels as their are some great stuff being created by the community at the moment.</div>

Unlike nearly all Mario games their is no story of Princess Peach being kidnapped. Instead this is just pure platform glory.</div>

On the disc there are a number of pre-made courses that can be played in the 10 Mario Challenge, where you have ten lives to complete eight levels. There is also the 100 Mario Challenge where you play against random levels created by the community.</div>

There is a large amount of Amiibo support for the game that is exclusive to the original Super Mario Bros theme with the Mystery Mushroom. This will allow Mario to be dressed up in a costume that is representative of the corresponding costumes. If you lack all of the Amiibo’s these can be unlocked by playing through the 100 Mario Challenge.</div>

The new 8-bit Mario Amiibo adds a Big Mushroom that makes Mario giant while giving enemies moustaches.</div>

The controls are the standard quality that you can expect from Nintendo after 30 years of development and slight refinement.</div>

The graphically pallets for all of the Themes are true to their original styles and look wonderful in HD on a widescreen TV.</div>

The music and sounds are all classic Mario and provide a nostalgic glory that will have you humming along.</div>

NINTENDO have revealed why Star Fox Zero on Wii U is being delayed past its original November 2015 release date.</div>

The upcoming titles will now miss the holiday season, having targeted a November 2015 release date.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Instead, Nintendo plans to shelve the launch until the first quarter of 2016, Game producer Shigeru Miyamoto revealed this week.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The games giant is aiming to improve the quality of Star Fox Zero, with an overall need to carry on working on cutscenes and exploration features.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Miyamoto, speaking about the project's ambitions and delay, explained: "We have been developing Star Fox Zero for Wii U with the aim of releasing it this year.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Although we felt that the development had been progressing well, we now believe that we will need a little more time to work on areas such as the unprecedented discovery that we want players to experience in the game by using two screens, and further polishing the level designs and perfecting the tone of the cut scenes.</div>

"While we have already reached the stage where it would be technically possible to release the title in time for the year-end holiday season, we want to polish the game a bit more so that players will be able to more smoothly grasp the new style of play that we are proposing.</div>
