Super Mario Galaxy 3: Nintendo talk bringing next title to Wii U and NX consoles
Super Mario Galaxy 3 is possible for Wii U, Nintendo say
NINTENDO say they are ready to do another 3D action title and are adamant that either the Wii U or Nintendo NX console could support a new Super Mario Galaxy 3 title.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 was a critical success but the Japanese games giant has remained coy over the future of the 3D platforming franchise.
The last instalment appeared in 2010 and while fans have been waiting for a return to outer space, Nintendo have been busy focusing on developing 2D action titles for the iconic games character.
However, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has spoken more on the future of the Galaxy range, revealing that the company are always looking at new opportunities to include aspect of 3D in their games but are wary of how it can also appear more niche than the traditional Mario adventures.
"Going back to our roots and making New Super Mario Bros., anyone can play that," Miyamoto told EuroGamer. "So that's why we went back.
"We're always thinking, is there a middle ground where people who do enjoy the 3D worlds of Galaxy and those who enjoy New Super Mario Bros. can both enjoy it? We're always looking at those opportunities.
"[A new Mario Galaxy] is always in discussion," Miyamoto added. "But even with Mario 64 there was a lot of feedback about motion sickness with the 3D or maybe us making it too difficult.

"On the other hand, me and [Yoshiaki] Koizumi-san, director of Galaxy, are always looking to challenge Galaxy and do another 3D action title," Miyamoto continued. "However we can't make so many games at once in parallel.
"But as the hardware technology gets better and advances, I think there will be a lot of opportunity for both options.
But what about the platform it could be launched on? As unlikely as it sounds Miyamoto doesn't believe Super Mario Galaxy 3 would be held back from being released on Wii U because of hardware limitations.
"Wii U's definitely good enough in terms of hardware performance, it is more the workload of the team," he continued.
"If you look at Star Fox Zero, the TV and GamePad are both rendered in 60 frames, so in total that's 120 frames. It's really just a matter of the CPU speed at this point."
