Microsoft are reportedly interested in launching a new Xbox One console

Sources claim that the tech giant is weighing up a move to bring a self-styled Xbox One "lite" to the market that would pave the way for Microsoft to enter the set-top box market.
The lightweight Xbox One model would only have access to Windows store games and could be connected to the rumoured second Xbox device that was reported around the time the original console launched in 2013.
Petri claims that the device could launch in the latter half of 2016 and would boast a much lower price-point than the existing Xbox One, making it a direct competitor to the likes of Apple TV.

Xbox One has seen a list of impressive updates to its operating system in 2015, including an upgrade to Windows 10 and access to Xbox One Backward Compatibility.
The redesigned Home provides faster access to Chat and Friend features while also making it easier to share your achievements and game clips via Xbox Live.
Fans have noticed some issues using the new Backward Compatibility feature, with newly added title Halo: Reach hit by framerate issues.
