APPLE looks set to unveil a brand new iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch early next month, industry sources seem to suggest.
Apple will unveil its next iPhone model on March 15th, rumours suggest.
Although nothing is confirmed, it’s widely believed the new iPhone will have a smaller four-inch display.
Dubbed iPhone 5se or iPhone 6c, the new smartphone is expected to resemble an updated iPhone 5s, with improved cameras, support for Live Photos and Apple Pay.
Apple is also expected to include a faster processor and the same curved glass display as the iPhone 6 and newer.
By replacing the iPhone 5s with the iPhone 5se, Apple will ensure all of the smartphones it sells support contactless payment solution, Apple Pay.
It also caters to those who do not want to use a larger 4.7inch or 5.5inch display, like those on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
Alongside its updated smaller iPhone, Apple is expected to refresh the iPad range.
The Apple iPad Air 3 is rumoured to make its debut during the press conference. The 9.7-inch iPad wasn't updated at all last year.
Apple is expected to boost the speed of its iPad, as well as include an LED flash for the rear camera.
The iPad Air 3 could also be slightly thicker than its predecessor, which first made its debut in October 2014, as Apple is expected to include support for the Apple Pencil.
This lightweight rechargeable stylus was unveiled alongside the productivity-minded iPad Pro, and has proven to be a big hit with artists and designers thanks to its low latency.
And Pencil support is not the only feature Apple is expected to borrow from the iPad Pro for its latest iPad Air.
Leaked cases have revealed four speakers around the 9.7 tablet, similar to those included in Apple's premium device.
The smart connector, used to share power and data between the keyboard and iPad Pro, could also be bundled with the iPad Air 3.
Finally, we are expecting to see some minor upgrades for the Apple Watch, too.
Rumours suggest Apple's tech timepiece will get some new straps and a software update but we're not expecting any major design changes to the device itself.
Apple won't officially announce the date of its next event until nearer the time and the March 15th date could change.
NewsNewsBlog.blogspot.com will bring you full updates on Apple's big event as soon as we get them.
