This video proves people will buy anything with an Apple logo
People praised the design of the iPhone 6S, without realising they were holding an original iPhone
US TALK SHOW host Jimmy Kimmel has sent an interviewer out into the streets to find out what the everyman thinks of Apple's new smartphone. Except, it turns out the interviewees weren't assessing an iPhone 6S at all.

To find out what people thought of the latest Apple smartphones, US late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel sent an interviewer into the streets.
Unfortunately – instead of taking the iPhone 6S to show people, the interviewer was armed with the original Apple iPhone, released back in 2007.

But that didn't stop members of the public heaping praise on the eight-year-old handset – and many even said they would definitely 'upgrade' their phones to the 2007 iPhone.
"The resolution on the screen is much sharper. Definitely," said on passerby.
“Nice and light,” one interviewee tells the Jimmy Kimmel Live! team, adding “it fits in the palm of my hand.”
Praising the original iPhone's 3.5inch display – much smaller than the current 4.7inch and 5.5inch available on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus – one passerby says, "It’s comfortable, better than before.
"My thumb doesn’t have to stretch all the way across the country to type."

At the end of the video, one man is asked whether this new iPhone proves that Apple has done it again with its latest handset.
Without skipping a beat, he agrees, “Apple always does it again.”
He'll be pleased to know that the iPhone he thought was so revolutionary costs about £180 on eBay – quite a saving when compared to the £539 price tag attached to the new iPhone 6S.
