MASS Effect 4 fans hoping to see some friendly reminders from earlier games in the trilogy could be in luck if this latest Andromeda report is to be believed.

Mass Effect 4 looks to be continuing the character traditions from the previous trilogy

Fans of the franchise think they may have stumbled on some new information hidden in the recent Mass Effect Andromeda teaser released on N7 Day.
Apart from being just a montage paying Commander Shepard a fond farewell, it appears that a hint at the next protagonists name may have also been put in as well.
Hard Working fans spotted a clip showing a dog tag lying in a spacecraft cockpit, with a name inscribed.
It's hard to tell what it says but most have settled upon the idea that it says "Ryder" and there are several reasons why this could make a very good fit.
Commander Shepard was named after the first American man in space, Alan Shepard, and with keeping the tradition of the original Mass Effect trilogy alive, BioWare look to be doing the same in Andromeda.
Sally Ride was the first American woman in space and would appear a great fit for a main character who can be either gender.

Another hint that may point to a Commander Ryder taken the helm in Mass Effect 4 is connected with what BioWare Montreal studio director Yanick Roy said earlier this year.
Having been asked by someone on Twitter to change the music in the trailer from Ghost riders in the sky, by Johnny Cash, Roy revealed the full game would include music closer to the original games.
"No, sorry," Roy replied.
"Because there are very good reasons for that choice of song for the trailer that should become clear later on."

Mass Effect 4 fans have been busy searching for clues

"The game's music itself will be much closer to what you would traditionally associate with "Mass Effect music"."
It's clear that BioWare hope to build Mass Effect: Andromeda's main theme around the subject of human exploration and would be a perfect chance to continue in the studio's past endevaours.
BioWare have already confirmed that the person featured in the E3 trailer will not be the main character in Andromeda.
