BIOWARE developers have spoken more on the the progress of Mass Effect: Andromeda and have also shared new concept from the upcoming Xbox One, PS4 and PC title.
It appears the titles is still on schedule for released in late 2016 and although fans are sceptical that the new title could be held back to 2017, it hasn’t stopped members of the BioWare sharing their thoughts on the big project.
Bioware’s Jos Hendriks this week that he has finally gotten his chance to play the game in a form similar to it finished content, however, he did also mention that he was only playing the content he had personally worked on and was not the finished product.
“Oh gosh, I'm playing Mass Effect: Andromeda properly for the first time. This is exciting!” Hendriks tweeted.
“I haven't seen much anything of anyone else's work on the game, so this is super great. Already had my first holy sh*t moment.
Hendriks also took the time to answer some Mass Effect fans questions revealing what content he had access to and how the BioWare were tackling the challenge.
“Just my own work without the context of the rest of the game,” he explained.
“Now I'm playing the game like you would if/when you get it.
“We are working hard on it, and we know where we want the game to be/go, but it isn't ready for public consumption.”
The Mass Effect creative director, Mac Walters, also shared a tidbit of new information from Mass Effect 4, posting what appears to be a new piece of Andromeda concept art that can be seen above.
The game art shows a figure standing in front of a huge door, which could be linked to a new ancient race that will be encountered.
Fans have been busy picking over some of the recent information released by BioWare on the new title, some of which could point to the name of Andromeda’s protagonist.
