DESPITE receiving a massive update just a couple of days ago, a new hotfix has been deployed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
V. 43.2.17.5 sees the Black Market become accessible while in pre-game lobbies, meaning that players do not have to quit in order to part ways with Cryptokeys in exchange for supply drops.
The hotfix has also affected the following:
- Hellstorm and Wraith Scorestreaks buffed
- Players can be killed by their own score streak
- Fixes for Medals/Challenges not tracking certain progress
- Fixes in Black Market for looping sounds
- Fixes for in-game store images and language
- Brass Knuckles taunts FX has been added
Players may be surprised by this latest hotfix after having to download a massive patch earlier in the week.
Update 1.04 saw the arrival of new weapons for Black Ops 3 while also allowing players to quickly join a friend’s game.
But taking to Twitter, studio design director David Vonderhaar warned players why they should take particular notice of this latest hotfix.
He said: “You can be killed by your own Scorestreaks (again). Hellstorm buff. Wraith defence buff. *Multiple* Medal/Challenges tracking fixes.
“More minorly, Black Market fixes for looping sound, in-game store images/language fixes & the Brass Knuckles taunt gets it’s missing FX.”
