GAMING news today includes more information on the Xbox One’s upcoming Backwards Compatible games, the hype surrounding Nintendo’s Pokemon Go, and Sony’s top 10 PlayStation 4 games for 2016.
Microsoft have announced which titles have made the cut for the Xbox One’s Backwards Compatible games list.
The gaming giants had revealed 104 potential titles in November, although not all of these would be making the original December list.
But the names are finally in, with the likes of Banjo-Kazooie, Crazy Taxi, Mass Effect and Perfect Dark Zero part of the new line-up.
Pokemon Go is one of this year’s most talked-about games despite only being announced in September.
Data from Google show that the upcoming Nintendo game for iPhone and Android was the sixth most searched video game of the year, only behind the likes of Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront.
Pokemon Go is set to be released next year and will apparently be the most immersive game in the series yet.
Sony chief Shuhei Yoshida has revealed his top 10 most anticipated PS4 games for 2016.
The list includes some obvious choices such as Unchartered 4 and Final Fantasy 15, with the likes of Dark Souls 3 and The Last Guardian also making the cut.
10 PlayStation VR games have also been announced, including The London Heist and Rez Infinite.
