MESUT OZIL has ruled out a return to the Bundesliga in the near future.
The 27-year-old playmaker has been repeatedly linked with German champions Bayern Munich, who reportedly attempted to sign him at the start of last season.
But the former Schalke and Werder Bremen man insists he has every intention of honouring his contract at the Emirates Stadium, which expires in 2018.
"I can never say I will return," the German World Cup winner said. "I have beautiful memories of home, but I'm with Arsenal until at least 2018.
"[Arsenal boss Arsene] Wenger has always backed me strongly. He's always there for me."
And Ozil, who has guided the Gunners to second in the table with two league goals and 13 assists, says he's enjoying the best season of his career so far.
Talking to Kicker, he added: "I'd like to say so far, this is my strongest season for Arsenal. But no, this is the strongest season so far in my career."
