Xbox One bringing the party in 2016 with major new system update

2016 is gearing up to be a big year for the Xbox One.

 

The Xbox One is in line for a new update

 

As well as receiving cracking exclusives including Gears of War 4 and Crackdown 3, it appears that Microsoft's popular console is about to get a new update.

Thanks to Xbox engineering lead Mike Ybarra, the ability to view a party before joining is set to be introduced.

There is no indication as to when this feature will come out, but Ybarra has revealed that Microsoft will continue to develop and change it in the near future.

Being able to view party members before joining the conversation will come as a welcome relief to many Xbox One gamers.

It looks set to be the first system update since November, which saw the introduction of the New Xbox One Experience.

However, a much-smaller 'behind the scenes' update went live in January which fixed various unspecified Xbox One bugs.
