Star Wars Battlefront has proven a popular choice during the holidays, with more than 12 million copies sold since its release in November.</div>

It looks like the first-person shooter moved 6 million units in November, followed by the same number in December, meaning that the game may have brought in around $660 million in earnings.</div>

That's according to Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter, while the game may have also seen a significant boost from the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Cinemas last month.</div>

Having apparently revealed that a new offline update is set to be launched to expand <a href="http://newsnewsblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/star-wars-battlefront-major-update.html" target="_blank">Star Wars Battlefront</a> single-player choice last week, more news has come in on the subject.</div>
