FALLOUT 4 players encounter a lot of dangerous situations in the Boston wastelands, but one gamer got more than he bargained for while playing Bethesda’s latest masterpiece.
Texas resident Ben Rose was enjoying a peaceful afternoon session on his Xbox One when an uninsured driver came crashing through the wall of his Irving apartment, leaving him with fractured vertebra and a sliced Achilles tendon.
However, Rose reckons that things would have been a lot worse had he not been playing Fallout 4 in a unique gaming chair, telling CBS Local: “You play in a wasteland and then your apartment turns into a wasteland.
“Cars versus people don’t really end up well. So I really thought it was over. Everybody asks were you walking in your parking lot? Or were you in your car? What do you mean she drove through your apartment?
The chair is what saved me. It pushed me out of the way. It kept me from going under the car
Unfortunately for Rose, the driver of the car was uninsured |
An online fundraiser has been created to help Rose pay the bills |
