Star Wars Battlefront: Fans vent fury over update following Battle of Jakku release
The Battle of Jakku is now available for those who pre-ordered Battlefront
THE Force may be strong, but it appears some weapons in Star Wars: Battlefront have been weakened by the latest patch.

Players who have downloaded the latest version, 1.03, have taken to forums complaining about ‘nerfed’ guns and power-ups in the wake of fresh DLC from EA.
The Battle of Jakku pack, which contains two new maps as well as game-mode ‘Turning Point’, is now available to play for those who pre-ordered Battlefront.
The rest of the Battlefront community will have to wait a week for the free pack, but it’s not the DLC which has fans talking.

Star Wars fans are not pleased about the latest update
Taking to forums, many expressed their anger over the alleged weakening of Star Card ability Barrage, which fires a volley of grenades at enemies.
Players report that it now takes longer for the explosives to detonate, giving the opposition more time to get clear.
Others claim that the DL-44 blaster pistol has also become less effective, with the gun apparently taking an extra shot to kill while also losing some range.

All Battlefront players will be able to fight on Jakku from next week
However, DICE makes no mention of the problems in the patch notes, instead listing the following:
-General bug fixes for vehicles and physics improvements
-Game modes balancing tweaks
-HUD UI adjustments
-Audio optimisations
-General crash and stability fixes
-Various text fixes for all languages
-General bug fixes for both Missions and Multiplayer
There is a possibility that DICE will release another patch when Jakku becomes available for all players.
Unfortunately, it is believed that more weapons could be ‘nerfed’, with the Bowcaster said to be next for a change.
