BLACK FRIDAY saw sales of FIFA 16 rise by a massive 254 per cent as the football game clawed its way back to the summit of the UK top 40 charts.
The discount-retail event saw a huge boost in game purchases, with the likes of Unchartered: The Nathan Drake Collection and Forza Motorsport returning to the top 10.
FIFA, which saw its price slashed to around £30, saw sales rise by 254 per cent, while Unchartered reportedly rose around 1000 per cent.
Gamers were also keen to snap up other big-name titles, with Fallout 4 and Black Ops 3 sales both up significantly.
However, EA space blaster Star Wars: Battlefront recorded a drop of 52 per cent which saw it knocked off top-spot by FIFA, with Rise of the Tomb Raider also falling.
As expected, Halo 5: Guardians was a big hit with shoppers as the bundle-friendly title saw sales rise by nearly 200 per cent.
The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 also saw an increase after undergoing their first proper Black Friday discount, with sales up by 8 per cent.
