Star Wars Battlefront is to receive a major update, according to new reports

Having released with a fair amount of feedback from fans concerned by the amount of offline mode available, it appears developer DICE have moved to create more of a choice selection.
Star Wars: Battlefront has a limited amount of offline options right now, with the game envisioned to be a mainly online experience.
Fans have been looking for more offline modes, space battles and campaign but it looks like they’ll only be getting one of their most wanted features added.

A new report from a fan has revealed that DICE are actively working on bringing some more online modes to single-player, a fact apparently confirmed by EA Customer Experience.
The full excerpt from the conversation has been uploaded online, revealing that we should learn more about it very soon.
After being asked if it was true about the offline mode expansion, the Customer Support person replied: “The developers are working on it and they have progressed quite a bit.

“They would hopefully be added they are still working on it. They have not yet provided us a time frame for the update.”
None of this has been officially confirmed by EA or DICE, although there have been hints in the past that this area of the game could be expanded.
Something that apparently won’t be expanded on in Battlefront through future DLC is Star Wars: The Force Awakens content.
