Leicester residents have been identified as the most active gym users in the UK and Fulham residents the least, according to new research released today.
The report found that fitness-crazed Leicester residents used the gym on average eight times a month whereas lazier Fulham residents in South West London used the gym the least, averaging five times a month.
Those living in Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria, the most obese in the UK overall with a BMI of over 30 - putting them at a higher risk of developing heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer.
The findings also revealed that Swindon residents overall have the biggest waist line of more than 35 inches for females and more than 40 inches for males - a whopping THREE inches over the NHS recommendation for both genders.

Chester residents had the highest blood pressure readings, Wolverhampton the highest cholesterol and Croydon the highest glucose results, putting them at an increased risk of developing serious, long-term health conditions.
The report showed that more than a fifth questioned (22 per cent) admitted drinking more than the daily recommended units of alcohol of three to four for men and two to three for women. 
Shockingly, a massive 90 per cent admitted to not doing the weekly recommended amount of 150 minutes of moderate exercise.
Worryingly, one in 10 were placed in the metabolic risk category of possibly developing type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and premature death, with Sheffield residents most at risk at 16 per cent.

Following analysis of sleep, a third confessed to not getting the recommended amount of sleep a night of seven to nine hours
Those questioned also disclosed the top five reasons for visiting a physiotherapist were due to general wear and tear (54 per cent), sports injuries (24 per cent), post-surgery (10 per cent), postural (6 per cent) and bio-mechanical, due to an adverse structure of their body (6 per cent). 
Londoners were the most injury prone and booked the most physiotherapy appointments.
The most popular classes for 2015 were spin, body pump and pilates.

A huge number of British adults took to the pool last year, with over 40,000 adults partaking in swimming lessons. 
Healthcare experts Nuffield Health analysed data from thousands of members and non-members.
