3. A new world record of 39min 20sec was set by Thomas Dodd for running 10,000m backwards.
4. By manipulating the proteins cells use to communicate, scientists in the USA have grown the heads and brains of some species of flatworms on the bodies of other species.
5. Matt “the Megatoad” Stonie set a new record by eating 182 rashers of bacon in five minutes.
