| A GTA Online Christmas update looks set to be released soon |
NEW items including masks and a car have apparently been leaked ahead of the GTA Online Christmas update.
Fans have been waiting for an official announcement from Rockstar, with the patch surely set to arrive on all platforms soon.
Latest update Executives and Other Criminals was released yesterday, introducing players to new weapons as well as a helicopter and Super Yacht.

It is claimed that the Christmas items were included in the files, although Rockstar have chosen to hold them back for a separate release.
However, some gamers believe they have managed to get their hands on screenshots of the items, which include a Christmas tree as well as Santa outfits.

There are also a number of new masks ranging from the Gingerbread Man to the Abominable Snowman.
Additionally, a muscle car called The Tampa, previously seen in GTA San Andreas, looks set to arrive in Los Santos, making it a merry Christmas all round for fans of the game.
