GAMING news today includes more details about the upcoming Nintendo NX console, new content for Halo 5 and some major changes to Star Wars Battlefront.
It appears that Nintendo are aiming to completely move away from the Wii with upcoming console NX.
A new patent filing shows a gamepad featuring a touchscreen panel which is sure to make Nintendo’s latest offering stand apart from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Additional buttons could also see the controller tilted and used in a number of positions, with a card-slot and built-in speaker indicating on-the-go gaming.

Cartographer’s Gift features new maps as well as a new and improved Forge.
343 explained: “Giving more power and control to the Forge community was the primary goal, and community feedback will continue to fuel the evolution of Forge as we update the mode with new features and content.”

A number of changes have been made to Star Wars Battlefront following a new update from EA DICE.
The latest patch sees Boba Fett lose his missile auto-lock feature, while Impact Grenade damage has been reduced from 100 to 90.
Game mode Walker Assault has also been affected, with the AT-AT on Endor getting a much-needed boost with extra health.
