Cartographer's Gift is out on Halo 5 next week
 
343 Industries have announced the arrival of Cartographer’s Gift for Halo 5: Guardians.
 
The free update is set to land on the Xbox One next week and brings with it a whole host of fresh maps and REQs.
Fans can get their hands on weapons including the SPNKr Rocket Launcher and the Classic Battle Rifle, with new armour and emblems also available.
The update brings with it three new Arena maps called Overgrowth, Antifreeze and Entombed, a Warzone map called Battle of Noctus, and of course ‘Forge’.

A statement from 343 read: “The next free update to Halo 5: Guardians arrives next week and with comes Forge, new Arena and Warzone maps, Seasons and social playlists, brand new REQs, and more. 
“Today, we’re excited to reveal each unlock able REQ. Included are weapons, armour, and emblems you might recognise from past Halo titles, as well as some new additions.

“Cartographer’s Gift marks the return of the SPNKr Rocket Launcher - the dual tubed tool of destruction that comes in 4 flavours. 
“You’ll also notice the full set of Gold Standard weapon skins, which are rather fitting of their Legendary rarity.
“We hope you’re as excited as we are for the Cartographer’s Gift and the wide array of new content it brings to Halo 5.”
