GAMERS could be the ones calling the shots for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s next major update, according to reports.
Activision have apparently been sending out long surveys to those in their Playtesting group, asking a number of questions relating to the latest game as well as Black Ops 2, Ghosts and Advanced Warfare.
Players were asked to provide insight on a number of topics including Overall Fun, Theme and Look/Visuals in regards to some classic maps, hinting that the next major update for Black Ops 3 could see some of them making a return to online multiplayer.
The maps under the microscope were believed to be Warhawks, Whiteout, Chasm, Tremor, Solar, Cargo, Freight and Riot, with one question asking: “How fun was using advanced movement (e.g. Boost Jump) on this map?”
Activision were also keen to find out whether players found the latest Specialist characters aesthetically pleasing to look at, while also hoping for feedback on whether this new feature in the Call of Duty series was a hit or a miss.
Finally, gamers were asked about Black Ops 3’s Crypto Keys and whether they’d like to see any changes made to the content of drops.
At the end of the day, this survey may or may not have an impact on the next Call of Duty update, but Activision have certainly raised questions over their next steps towards fresh game content.
