GAMING news this week includes Dying Light's DLC secrets, A Mass Effect 4 boost and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's season update.
Some of Dying Light's DLC secrets have been revealed this week, with a little help from a sozzled fans.
Answering questions on Twitter on the subject of just how Harran creates its power, developers Techland responded with a rather creepy new video.
The question is neatly answer in the clip, which shows a group of zombies on Hamster wheels being used to generate the power needed to survive the night.
It wasn't the only news revealed by Techland of late, who have also given Xbox One, PS4 and PC fans another brief glimpse of what the new Buggy gameplay will be like in expansion, The Following.
The release date for Dying Light: The Following has yet to be revealed, who say they hope to share one soon.
The developers are also giving fans a chance to help shape one special missions in the new DLC, with an official statement explaining: "The team is creating a unique mission that takes place inside an abandoned post office and wants fans to have their messages of distress, horror, or bravery be scattered around the level.
"The design team will pick their favourite letters and place them into the game along with full credit for the authors."
It isn't the first time Techland have hidden secret Dying Light Easter Eggs, before revealing them to fans later.
BioWare have shared a new update on the development of Mass Effect: Andromeda, revealing that things are moving forward smoothly.
The studio remains tight-lipped about their latest title, which isn't set to hit shelves until late in in 2016.
One or two pieces of information have been issued to fans via the Twitter account of Chris Wynn in the past month, however, including his thoughts on ME:4's progress.
Wynn, Mass Effect's senior development director, says the game is now looking better than the teaser trailer shared at E3, 2015.
"Spending a lot of time in the latest Mass Effect Andromeda build. Looking better than what we showed in the E3 teaser," he wrote on Twitter.
Wynn also confirmed that the footage seen at E3 this year was indeed in-engine and was just a teaser in terms of what was shown.

Having originally kicked off in January earlier this year, players will get another chance to take on players with similar skills in 4 vs. 4 matches in game modes like Search & Destroy, Capture the Flag, Uplink, and Hardpoint with eSports settings enabled.
The rules set out includes winning a match to earn points towards being promoted into the next division, while Losing a match, or forfeiting by leaving the game will result in a penalty by loss of points.
Ranked Play features seven divisions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Masters, and once players are in Masters, the top 100 players by division points will be counted as Grand Masters.
October sees ranked play Season 10 go live on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with Season 9 available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Sledgehammer has confirmed that division gear rewards from ranked play will begin rolling out today.
