Since the infamous Lizard Squad attack over the festive period, Xbox and PlayStation gamers have continued to face regular outages.
However, the latest issues hitting Xbox 360 customers appear to be the worst yet.
Gamers using Microsoft's older console haven’t been able to log in or access key areas of the service for days.
Many have now taken to Twitter and gaming forums to complain of the issues and demand compensation.

One angry fan wrote on Twitter “We pay for Xbox live and half the time its down. We shouldn't have to pay for it, it should be FREE!!”
Whilst another vented their frustration saying: “The amount of times Xbox live is down, everyone should get something for it as it's wasting our money, unreal.”
Xbox have apologised for the ongoing problems, but haven’t given any indication of when things will return to normal.
A message on the Xbox Live status page reads: “Hi Xbox members, we’re aware that some of you are having trouble connecting to Xbox Live and we want you to know that we won’t stop working until everything is back to normal.
“We’re currently engaged with our friends who work with the European ISPs so that we can get everything straightened out as soon as possible.
“Thank you for staying patient while we work. We’ll update you again when we have more information.”
It seems that the issues are mainly affecting UK users although some parts of Europe are also struggling to connect.
