GAMERS hoping to get their hands on the Oculus Rift may be waiting a while – the virtual reality headset has already sold out.
Despite being priced at £499 ($599), it took just 14 minutes for the bold new gaming gadget to be snapped up via pre-orders.
The Oculus Rift will start shipping from March 28, but select retailers in limited locations will be allowed to stock them from April.
Buyers will receive a box which 'includes the headset with built-in headphones and mic, sensor, and an Xbox One controller.'
Also inside is a free copy of Lucky's Tale and the new Oculus Remote, 'designed to make it simple and intuitive to navigate VR experiences.'
Avid fans with money to burn can also pre-order an Oculus Ready PC along with the Rift for an eye-watering $1499.
This is just the beginning. We can't wait to share more about the incredible games and experiences coming to Rift this year
