Apple quietly rolls out new 21.5-inch iMac with 4K display
Apple has brought its staggeringly sharp Retina HD display to the smaller 21.5inch desktop
APPLE has added a 4K display to its 2.1inch iMac desktop computer and launched a brand-new keyboard, wireless mouse and magic trackpad.

Apple that today refreshed its 21.5-inch iMac desktop computer.
The Cupertino technology firm has confirmed its new 21.5-inch iMac will have a Retina 4K display.
Apple has packed an eye-watering 4096 x 2304 resolution – some 9.4 million pixels – into the new 21.5inch display.
That works out at about 4.5 times the number of pixels in the standard iMac display, which is still available on the cheaper iMac models.

Apple claims its new iMac has a wider colour gamut that brings more true-to-life colours to your desktop display.
Standard sRGB-based displays often struggle to accurately recreate colours. Apple's Retina 5K and 4K displays feature a wider P3-based colour gamut that provides a 25 percent larger colour space.
This means images and video are more detailed and lifelike than previous iMac models.
