A new chocolate and hazelnut spread without the calories is hitting the (virtual) shelves. Online health retailer MuscleFood.com has become the UK’s first company to sell a spread with less than a quarter of the sugar and half the calories of leading brands.
The new product, nicknamed Prutella, contains just 0.6g of sugar - a quarter of the sugar of the nation’s leading chocolate and hazelnut spread.
Prutella comes as Government advisers have told families to slash their sugar intake by half.
It’s perfect for those watching their waistlines too, with less than half the calories and saturated fat of the market leader.
