Mourinho would be tasked with advising on the development of the game which would include a focus on the China national team, the Super League, coaching techniques and transfer strategies.</div>

Mourinho visited China with his agent last month and they were pictured with Zhang Dazhong, the chief executive of Alisports, in Shanghai.</div>
