JOSE MOURINHO wants to bring Wesley Sneijder to Manchester United if he replaces Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman reportedly has two games to save his job after going six games without a win.
And United have failed to deny reports that Mourinho has agreed a five-year deal to take the job.
United face Stoke on Boxing Day before facing Chelsea on December 28, and Express Sport understands Mourinho is effectively waiting in the wings.
And, according to The Sun, Mourinho wants Sneijder to be his game-changing midfielder.
The Holland star, 31, played under Mourinho at Inter Milan, where they won the Champions League together in 2010.
Sneijder signed a fresh three-year deal at Galatasaray in October but Mourinho is hoping the lure of the Premier League will make him re-think his options.
