JOSE MOURINHO is reportedly wanted by the Chinese football revolution.

The former Chelsea boss, who appears close to becoming Manchester United's next manager, is being lined up for a consultancy role, according to the Evening Standard.
Mourinho would be tasked with advising on the development of the game which would include a focus on the China national team, the Super League, coaching techniques and transfer strategies.
Mourinho visited China with his agent last month and they were pictured with Zhang Dazhong, the chief executive of Alisports, in Shanghai.

Alisports' parent company own a stake in Guangzhou Evergrande, who signed Jackson Martinez this week.
Chinese clubs have spent an astronomical amount on players this month with Ramires and Alex Teixeira both breaking the record for transfer fees in the country.
The Brazilian duo joined Jiangsu Suning for £25m and then £38m, while Martinez's move in between to Guangzhou Evergrande was worth a reported £32m.

Mourinho has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea in December but it is understood he has no desire to move to China to manage.
He may however consider the consultancy role on the table before taking up his next position in Europe.
