GTA 5 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC gets exclusive DLC update adding new car carnage
The new GTA 5 update arrives just in time for Thanksgiving for those fans in the USA
GTA 5 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC is getting a new DLC update that will unleash some fresh vehicular carnage on Los Santos.

UPDATE ONE: Fans across the globe playing the game on next-gen consoles will have the chance to test their American Football skills in the newly announced Running Back Adversary Mode for GTA Online.
Released today, players can check out the new feature that is inspired by the game that dominates sports proceedings across the pond, having been launched just in time for the Thanksgiving celebrations in the USA.
The new mode can be played in three different locations: Raton Canyon Bridge, La Mesa Bridge and Zancudo Tunnel, while Rockstar have revealed the rules of engagement which can be read below.
"Two teams (a total of 4-8 players) square off from opposing sides of a roadway," Rockstar explains.
"The elusive Runner, behind the wheel of a Benefactor Panto, must go the distance and get across the end zone line at the far end of the highway with the help of their offensive teammates in BF Biftas.
"Meanwhile, their defensive-minded opponents (also in Biftas) must ruthlessly block, crash and pummel their way to try to stop them."
However, players on Xbox 360 and PS3 will miss out again, memory limits on the older consoles are cited as the reason for their continued lack of new DLC content for GTA Online.

A GTA 5 update could arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC next month

Additional cars are set to be added to GTA Online, all of which will be customisable at Benny's Original Motor Works.
It's set to be an enjoyable holiday season for those GTA 5 Xbox One, PS4 and PC fans who enjoyed Rockstar's latest Lowrider update, which introduced a whole new layer of content to a select number of vehicles.
It appears that the DLC will include new options for the existing selection, as well as five new rides and a range of new clothing.
Rockstar have yet to confirm that any new content has been planned for release in December, although it has already been hinted at that new cars will be added to be used with Benny's shop.
The DLC offering brings a new way to enjoy the game, but it's also a pricey exercise.
That's why the studio have been busy offering new ways for gamers to buy their new car upgrades with double in-game cash Weekend Events and Adversary Mode offerings.

The latest Friday the 13th Weekend bonanza is set to wrap up and Rockstar have shared a new guide on how to get the most out of some of their newest Adversary Modes - Offense Defense, Cross the Line and Hunting Pack - which were featured.
The Rockstar Pro-tips for the GTA 5 update Adversary Modes can be found below:
Offense Defense - For this mode, communication is vital. You and your teammate should be constantly in contact with each other - if you're the Runner and in a jam with the enemy, give a shout to your Blocker.
"Speaking of Blockers, they cannot see checkpoints so if you’re the Runner, you can lead them a little astray and then quickly double back, leaving them trying to setup ambushes for routes you're not even taking.
"As the Runner, instead of just following the yellow route, consider taking shortcuts to head ‘em off at the pass and stay a step ahead of your opponent. Just use caution as veering off the path at times might take you through some rough terrain that is tough to get out of."

Hunting Pack - A heavy vehicle has been rigged with explosives that will detonate if it doesn't maintain a certain speed.
"One team is tasked with bringing that truck or bus to an combustive halt, while the other must defend it and ensure it reaches its destination intact.
"The booby-trapped vehicle is slow but very sturdy, so the attackers will need more than one person at a time to try to nudge it off course. For this reason, communication is crucial to coordinate attacks all at once and brute force the target off the road or into an obstacle.
"Time your attacks when the Runner is turning a corner, or driving close to immovable objects on the side of the road. Once the Runner has come to a halt, surround 'em and apply your hand brake to ensure they can't get on the move again."
Cross the Line - The objective is to have your entire team cross over no man's land and get into enemy territory alive. Of course, at the same time you must prevent the other team from crossing your own team's line first.
"If you die, you'll spawn all the way back behind your own line and have to start the process again so teamwork, tactics and communication are key; going lone wolf and making a mad dash for the line will only end badly as you'll be stuck in enemy territory with no support. Work as a team to ensure you all cross the line as one.
"If one of your comrades falls behind, you must provide cover fire until you're able to regroup. Crucially, play defensively and stay alive to give them time to join you behind enemy lines."
