The GTA 5 Lowrider DLC will include new customisation options
Rockstar update:
  • New clothing, hair, tattoos and accessories: Dozens of new options to match your new Lowriders.
  • Personal Vehicle Remote: You can now use the Player Interaction Menu to remotely open your trunk, doors or hood to show off your new rides.  You can also turn on the engine, lights and the radio all while standing outside admiring your vehicle.
  • Freemode Weapon pickups: 200 separate weapon pickups are now scattered across Los Santos and Blaine County. Keep an eye out for them as you roam through Freemode.
  • Changes to Performance Mod Unlocks: Performance mods are now more accessible and unlock by rank, as well as via Race wins.
  • Destroy Last Place: A new option has been added to Races, upping the stakes for those in the back of the pack. The host can set it to be effective each lap, every 15 seconds, every 30 seconds or every 60 seconds – and the player in last will be blown up at the corresponding interval.
  • Extra Weapons in the Creator: All previously released weapons that are not restricted by time-limited events will now be available for use in the Creator tool.
  • Quick Ammo Restock Option: Quickly refill your ammo directly from the Player Interaction Menu.  Quickly add rounds to any weapon, or max out your ammo for that weapon type.

  • New Player Actions: Three new player actions will be available via the Player Interaction Menu: Chicken, Chin Brush and No Way.
  • Updated PC Mouse Control Options: An option has been added to the Settings Menu to allow players to swap between Roll/Pitch and Yaw/Pitch mouse flying control types.

GTA Online will be packed silly with outrageous new rides
UPDATE ONE: Rockstar have revealed one or two new interesting details about the recently released trailer for the GTA 5 Lowrider update.
Fans who have been inquiring about the music accompanying the new clip have been told it was specially created on the request of the developers.
"For those wondering about the trailer music, it’s a new score created for GTA Online: Lowriders," a message from Rockstar explained.
"With next week’s release of GTA Online: Lowriders for PS4, Xbox One and PC – lovers of cars and customization all across Los Santos and Blaine County will have a suite of brand new options and a new place to go get them."
Benny's Original Motor Works is a new location being added to the GTA Online map which will allow fans to take part in the highest level of car modding ever seen in the game.
"Located conveniently in Strawberry, just south of the Olympic Freeway, Benny's is a full service garage specializing in Lowrider culture and customization. Visit for their grand re-opening, tomorrow October 20," a post from Rockstar confirms.
The sheer level of modding on offer is a first for the game, allowing fans to choose from a range of car models which can then be kitted out with new improved speakers, rim designs and paint jobs.
We're not sure why the garage had to be closed down in the first place, although going by the previous trailer we know that the likes of Lamar Davis are interested in controlling the Lowrider scene.
The new GTA Online update is set for release on October 20 and will be exclusive to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

A full description of some of the new modding options available to fans was revealed by Rockstar last week, explaining: "Visit Benny’s website via the shortcut on your in-game phone to choose from a half-dozen select customizable vehicles – then bring them down to the man himself for an upgrade that unlocks new custom lowrider mods.
"Deck out your engine block with covers and air filters, coat your interiors with velour, leather and patterns, choose custom colors and designs for your dials, or add a new steering wheel and custom shift levers.
"Give your ride lift with hydraulics - the more powerful the pumps, the higher you can bounce. And boost your stereo’s performance with new speakers and subs in the back."
