Ever wondered about the many pitfalls a triple-A games faces before being made? Well Swedish studio DICE have revealed that <strong>Star Wars Battlefront</strong> had to face a pretty big one almost straight away.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Taking on a project the size of a Battlefront reboot looked like a challenge, especially when EA were approached by Disney and the DICE team found themselves staring at a big scheduling issue.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This is even before the game could move into the concept stage of development.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Disney came to EA looking for a partner to make games and suggested, 'Maybe DICE should make a Battlefront game'," studio general manager Patrick Bach told Official Xbox Magazine.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"On our side, we had this opportunity but were fully booked with other work and thought, ‘Argh, we can’t do that!’ But then the heart kicks in, says ‘we will figure it out,’ and we figured it out.</div>

"Because you can’t say no to a project like that.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
EA recently announced that Battlefront will be hosting an open beta between October 8 and 12, which will include three game modes on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.</div>

Bungie have offered some much needed tactical analysis of <strong>Destiny's</strong> new game mode to help keep fans on the winning side of any match-up.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Crucible has a new PvP game mode called Zone Control which was added in The Taken King expansion earlier this month and differs from the earlier Control multiplayer.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Gamers score points by capturing points and holding them for long periods of time, points are earned exclusively through these zones, kills don't go towards the score at all.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Senior Designer Andrew Weldon explained more on the subject: "In Zone Control, we have removed all individual player scores and score bonuses.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Instead, your team receives points every five seconds for each zone you hold - +10 for one zone, +20 for two, and +30 for all three. Now, your path to victory relies far less on individual combat skills and far more on your team’s ability to effectively hold territory in the zones themselves.</div>

"Zone Control also marks the debut of our featured weekly PVP playlists – in addition to the Legendary Marks for completing a match in the daily, you can now earn 10 Legendary Marks for each of your first three wins in the weekly featured playlist for a total of 30 Legendary Marks over the course of the week.</div>

"We’ll feature a different rotating mode as the weekly featured playlist each week."</div>

Naughty Dog's creative director, Neil Druckmann says The Last of Us 2 is not in development.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A team were working on a gaming prototype for the sequel, who were then pulled into the Uncharted 4 project.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It means that a Last of Us 2 is on the cards, just don't expect it anytime soon.</div>

"When Bruce (Straley, co-director) and I moved over to Uncharted 4, we were brainstorming ideas for The Last of Us 2 with characters; ideas for TLOU 2 with Joel and Ellie; ideas for a sci-fi game; ideas for a fantasy game, and building prototypes for each one of those ideas," Druckmann told <a href="http://www.gamesradar.com/Naughty-dog-last-of-us-2-new-characters/" target="_blank">Official PlayStation Magazine UK</a>.</div>

Ever wondered what Bungie's grand visions was for Destiny before the launch of all the DLC actions and final title?<br />
A new range of concept work from the book, The Art of Destiny, shows off some of the earliest designs, including the many looks of The Traveler.<br />
Some cool new shots of The Hive, one of the main enemies for Guardians in the Destiny universe, can be found inside revealing some of the earliest takes on how Bungie wanted to handle the idea of space zombies.<br />
"Covering everything from the earliest sketches of the Guardians' armor to dilapidated cities on distant planets, this exploration of the art behind the year's biggest new gaming franchise details the incredible artistic development of each class, vehicle, and planet," the official description reads.<br />
"With hundreds of stunning sketches, character illustrations, pieces of concept art, environments, and more, The Art of Destiny will explore the game's sweeping world, grand scope, and vibrant visuals."<br />
<a href="https://www.bungie.net/7_The-Art-of-War/en/News/News?aid=13282" target="_blank">Other concept work</a> also reveals other grander plans, like the idea of ancient destroyed robots on Mars, as well as the idea that fireteams consisting of three players was also a main game feature.<br />

<section class="text-description">The studio have been keeping things low-key around the Andromeda instalment, giving little away to fans who are looking to find out more about what ME 4 will be like.<br />
Progress, however, is being made and it seems the team are pretty pleased with what is being put together so far.<br />
Head of Design and Art at BioWare, Alistair McNally, shared a brief update on how Mass Effect: Andromeda is shaping up.<br />
"Spent today reviewing creative progress on #MassEffectAndromeda," he tweeted.<br />
"I believe it to be the best (and certainly largest) Mass Effect ever, hype."<br />
The Last of Us 2 has had another confirmation moment, without actually being officially confirmed by developers Naughty Dog.<br />
According to Machinima, during a livestream for the Nathan Drake Collection,  Josh Scherr, writer for The Last of Us gave fans more hope that the game is indeed on its way.<br />
He spoke about facial animations during the event, revealing that team member Eric Monacelli was involved in the process for the entire Uncharted series, as well as the first Last of Us.<br />

<section class="text-description"><a href="http://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/gaming/588115/The-Last-of-Us-2-Naughty-Dog-PS4-sequel-TLOU-2" target="_blank">The project has yet to be officially revealed</a> by Naughty Dog, although these kind of instances appear to be on the rise.<br />
Like all good rumours, The Last of Us 2 was first given life through an employee's LinkedIn page and vague comments made by people from the studio.<br />
Last year for instance, Naughty Dog bosses revealed they were starting to explore ideas for a second game in the Last of Us universe but refused to guarantee another game would happen.<br />
Voice actor Nolan North also told an audience at a Metrocon panel earlier this year that The Last of Us 2 is in development.<br />
Responding to a question on if he was working with Last of Us developer Naughty Dog on anything new, North said: "For now I know they're doing Last of Us 2, but my character in Last of Us kind of met an untimely demise."</section><br />
