It's not been a great week for Apple.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://newsnewsblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/iphone-safari-glitch-how-to-stop-ios.html">Yesterday, a glitch in the firm's Safari web browser caused iPhones and Macs to crash</a> across the globe, and now Apple has confirmed it's recalling some of its chargers.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Apple is recalling AC wall plug adapters designed for use in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Continental Europe, New Zealand and South Korea.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The firm says that "in very rare cases, affected Apple two-prong wall plug adapters may break and create a risk of electrical shock if touched."</div>

According to the US tech firm these wall plug adapters were shipped with Mac and certain iOS devices between 2003 and 2015.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Although UK plugs aren't affected the issue has also been found in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Apple confirmed that it is aware of 12 incidents worldwide.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The recall does not affect any other Apple AC wall plug adapters designed for Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, United Kingdom, United States or any Apple USB power adapters.</div>

An affected two-prong plug adapter has either four or five characters or no characters on the inside slot where it attaches to the main Apple power adapter.</div>

MacBook and Apple Mac desktop owners have reported an infuriating bug with the Safari web browser.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Launching a new tab in the minimalist desktop web browser, or trying to type a search query or URL into the address bar CRASHES the hugely-popular browser – sending users back to the desktop. OS X then automatically generates a Crash Report to send to Apple.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Cupertino company has yet to acknowledge the problem, which appears to affect multiple versions of OS X <a href="http://newsnewsblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/iphone-safari-glitch-how-to-stop-ios.html" rel="">– as well as iPhone and iPad users</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the meantime, there are a couple of workarounds to get users up-and-running on Safari again.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Launching a New Private Window in Safari temporarily fixes the issue. To do this, click <strong>File > New Private Window</strong>.</div>

Another option is to disable <strong>Safari Suggestions</strong> – the websites and search queries the browser pre-emptively guesses as you type into the address bar.</div>

To do this, open <strong>Safari > Preferences > Search</strong> then toggle <strong>Safari Suggestions</strong> to <strong>Off</strong>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Since the glitch appears to affect multiple versions of iOS and OS X, some have suggested the problems may be server-side and linked to Safari Suggestions.</div>

One MacBook user complained on the MacRumours forum: "Experiencing this as well right now. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Additionally, tab switching doesn't seem to work and new tabs don't even show up in the tab bar. Safari is simply unusable right now."</div>
