Arsenal and Chelsea blow as defender set to complete stunning £17m switch to Milan
Alessio Romagnoli looks set to complete a move to AC Milan
ALESSIO ROMAGNOLI has signed for AC Milan from Serie A rivals Roma for a fee of around £17million, according to reports.

The news from Football Italia follows Roma director Walter Sabatini's weekend claims that a deal was "99.8 percent done".
Reports earlier in the summer claimed Milan would need to pay £21m for the defender but the Italian giants might have got their man in a cut-price deal.

The 20-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal after a proposed move to Milan appeared to break down last month.
Chelsea were also reportedly told they could land the Italian and were understood to be considering an offer.

Romagnoli would join a host of new faces at Milan, including striker Carlos Bacca
However, Milan have now stolen a march on all of their rivals as their summer spending shows no signs of letting up.
In a bid to restore the club to former glories, they have already spent close to £45m on eight new players, including Colombia forward Carlos Bacca.
And Roma were the subject of an earlier raid, with Andrea Bertolacci swapping the Italian capital for Milan.
